Kota Open University
came into being in 1987. Situated in Kota, Rajasthan its jurisdiction prevail over the whole of Rajasthan.

Kota Open University Objectives
The objectives of the University include -
The spreading of learning and knowledge through various means
To provide education to all classes of people in Rajasthan who could not avail the conventional system
To foster educational wellbeing of the society

It has six regional centers in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Kota,Ajmer and Bikaner. Ita also has 33 study centers all over Rajasthan
